Neon skirt and White blazer

Hey y'all!

For today's Saturday night outfit I have succumbed to the neon trend that has been seen pretty much everywhere. This coral skirt was one of my purchases when I was in Oxford at the beginning of the week. I have to say that my sister had this skirt before me (she made me say this haha!) and I liked it so much I bought it for myself! I'm also wearing a neon necklace which is amazing. It's quite a sizable necklace in the most amazing colours, so I kept my accessories to minimum.
To make sure both of the colours of the skirt and necklace popped I stuck to my fail safe colour, white. My white blazer always makes me feel sophisticated and sexy so I recommend every girl (and guy) gets one!!
Hopefully I'll have more luck with this evening's white clothing than I did with my cream shirt in Oxford!

Hope you all have a great Saturday night and make sure you let me know how it goes!!

Yours always,

Miss P x

Studded shirt and Plaited shopper

Hey y'all !

Today I had lovely day out in Oxford with my sister so I thought I would show you the photos ......and obviously the outfit !
I have just bought this cream silk shirt and I am in love with it. I love the gold studded collar and cuffs and you can't see in the picture but it also has small skull buttons! And to top it all off it was in the Zara sale so it didn't cost a bomb. Word of advice though if you ever buy this shirt or any new light coloured shirt do not, I repeat DO NOT eat a tomato based lunch. Tomato stains are not a good look.
The second love of my life is another Zara buy (good ole Zara). My tan plaited shopper. Nearly all my handbags are huge but this has to be the biggest. It's structural, strong and you can fit anything in there, what more do you need from a bag! I decided to add the scarf just to give it a bit more detail and colour.
Finally my rings are from Accessorize. I've always wanted a double ringed ring but could never find one that didn't look ridiculously colossal on my freakishly small hands but I have finally found one I actually think looks nice......well I hope it does. My opal ring is a great colour and goes great with my nails from my last post!

Pastel nails and lips

Hey y’all!

This is my first official post so I hope you like it!

Recently I’ve really gotten into pastel coloured nail varnishes. The colours are more experimental than your usual reds, pinks and blacks, allowing us to have more fun with them!
If you’re feeling playful go multi-coloured or alternate between 2 colours. Or take your basic French manicure up a notch and tip your nails with a bright colour for a new nail impact! At the moment I’m wearing lilac nails with lemon tips but I will of course be changing up the colours!

While buying new varnishes I also came across a pastel lavender lipstick, so I can now go up a level for my pastel make up affair! The one I’m wearing here is Barry M’s lavender lipstick.
Pastel make up looks great with a tan so there are no excuses this summer for not having a go! Pastel colours are fresh looking so teaming them with your summer outfits is the way to go!

So get experimenting and let me know how it goes!

Yours always,

Hey y’all !

This is my first blog EVER so please be kind. Basically, I hope to show you what’s on trend or what I’m loving at the moment! Whether an obvious faddy trend or something that could change the world (!), hopefully it’ll be on here.

Right let’s get personal, here is a little bit about me. I am a 20 year old student studying Publishing in Oxford. Oxford is an amazing place to live with quirky Cowley Road and the historical city centre all within a 5 minute walk of each other. It feels like a small London, which is probably why I love it so much.  When I graduate (here’s hoping) I would LOVE to work for a women’s magazine. I have read countless magazines since I was about 10 years old. I have read magazines that everyone over the years has heard of; Mizz, Sugar (remember them!), Elle, Vogue, Glamour and Cosmopolitan. And I have read magazines that probably hardly anyone knows such as Happy. I think you got the picture that I love magazines ha!

Right so back to business, fingers crossed this goes well. My first post will be here shortly!

Wish me luck!

Yours always,

Miss P x
